Section Chief (Deputy IntC) at 1st Helicopter Squadron

The Section Chief (OF 2) leads the intelligence and security section (S2) at the squadron staff and is also the deputy intelligence chief. The squadron staff consists of about twenty employees. Training and further education in intelligence and security services take place both at the unit and at the Swedish Armed Forces Intelligence and Security Centre.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise the personnel of the intelligence and security section
• Lead training of the unit's personnel in adversary knowledge
• Lead and conduct area analysis and dissemination of intelligence
• Participate in intelligence cells and command teams during exercises and operations
• Work within the framework of local security services
• Resolve tasks within the section's and staff's other areas of responsibility

Qualifications

• Officer's degree (OF)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English (spoken and written)
• Meets FM FysS basic requirements
• Driving license B

Meritorious

• Experience of working in intelligence/security functions within the Armed Forces
• Experience of staff work in the Armed Forces
• Good ability to visualize information

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills, who is development-oriented and enjoys working both independently and in a team. You are flexible, creative, and can lead and work independently within the framework of assigned responsibilities. You are meticulous and have a good ability to perform even under pressure. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
